There are two separate air conditioned bedrooms, one currently has a double bed, the other houses two bunk beds for the children.
The home enjoys ample water supply by the two rain water tanks. The residence is a steel structure with plumbing, electrical and lining well finished. This is a step up from your typical 'donga' found in the local area.
A short easy stroll to the toy/machinery shed takes you past the dry season campfire stand, and numerous bush tracks the children have worn with the push bikes and smaller motorbikes. Stop and look down a couple of them and you'll see the little jumps, a source for many fun times (and bandaids) in the past, ready for future enjoyment.
The lock up shed is steel in build, tidy and of a great size, it houses another ablution block with separate shower and toilet. The remaining area is separated into three areas. While in the past it was used for tooling, bikes and various equipment, it is now empty. With the open spaces It is easy to see how it could be utilised. Either for the same past use, or with some paint and handy work, the ablutions and two of the rooms could easily be renovated into another comfortable liveable dwelling. The third has dual roller door access, excellent for the tractor, motorbikes or drive-through lockable storage of the boat.
Beside the shed is a solid lock-up storage container for various tooling or build materials should you decide to transform the shed into a dwelling.
For the new comer to Dundee Downs, it's approximately 130km from Darwin via the Stuart Highway and Cox Peninsula Road. With only approx. 2.5 kms dirt remaining (two sections on Fog Bay Road), the drive is very easy and relaxing.
The well-known Dundee area is a fisher?s haven to it?s residents and visiting locals alike. Regardless of your fancy, barra, mudcrab, queenfish or mangrove jack, this property is close to three popular boat ramps - Six Pack Creek ramp, Milne ramp and the Popular Dundee Beach ramp.
