The front boundary is fenced and both side boundaries have a small section fenced as well at the front.

Deepwater is a popular area being centrally located between both Wreck Rock beach in the Deepwater National Park and Rules Beach near the mouth of Baffle Creek. 10-15 mins will take you to either of these beaches or to a boat ramp on Baffle Creek. 7km will take you to a boat ramp on Deepwater Creek which takes you down to the Broadwater.
